I am sure the preselection results will be available on Monday, cos the Commission doesn't work tomorrow and on Friday. I can't wait and I'm so nervous, I hope I will make it!

I read that if I'm not preselected I can contact the Traineeships Office to get my score and try to do better next time - does anybody know what is the minimum number of points required to be preselected?

The last time positive replies were sent first, negative a couple of hours later and official list was published on the Traineeship Office site a couple of days later.

Any lucky ones who got a positive reply? I didn't get anything yet and I'm a bit anxious..

When I was doing my traineeship the results were supposed to be known on the 15th and exactly on the 15th at around 5pm they send out the preselected emails, the following day the rejection emails were sent out and a couple of days later the list of preselected numbers was published on the website. So if they say the results should be known today I guess they will be known today.

they actually didn't say today. they said "not before end of mai" which doesn't necessarily mean in mai, if i'm right!?

Well then maybe just send an email and ask when the preselection results will be published, in my case the Traineeships Office was very helpful and responsive, I always got a detailed reply very soon after having sent an email

i got negative too. Does it mean ive got no chance now or i could still b selected in the "normal" selection procedure - of which the results are supposed to be known by mid- July?

if u don't pass the preselection process, u can't go through the selection phase...give up your hope, we'd better to think how to improve our application 4 next period!

I wasn't preselected I asked for my scores, so I'm waiting for the answer... Maybe next time, I will see.

I am writing here since a weird thing has happened.
The last year I was preselected in may and an intership was offered me in july, which I have refused since I was already doing one at the ILO.
Then I reapplied again and guess what...I was not even preselected!How that is possible???
I mean, I have also wider experience after an year.
I was guessing if I did some mistakes, or if, as an italian, we reached our quota limit.
Any idea?
I already wrote them an email.

my guess, marco: they say this time the applications reached the double compared to those for march 2010, so... you just had to face people who got better scores and so you've missed it.

they told me that it depends on the competition. for this session they had twice as much people applying and that based on all the applicants they produce a so called minimun score which varies from session to session.
