I haven't heard anything yet either. Anyone has any idea if they let everyone know at the same time? In that case I guess I didn't get it.

I also applied for an EP translation internship and got preselected, sent my documents around June 20th but since then I haven't heard anything.

I just received an email from the Traineeships Office. They said that "your name has been placed on a reserve list for a possible traineeship within the Directorate-General for Internal Policies in BRUSSELS." So exciting.

Not sure if the EP does things differently than the EC, but I received my first email on the 13th telling me that I have a traineeship in External Policies.

From what I'm reading elsewhere on the forum, other people have had to interview... although I didn't, so I'm not sure what the time frame is going to look like. Good luck!

I got rejected from EP. What if there are some places open later because of people who got accepted both at EC and EP? Does anybody know?

My name is also on the reserve list....i did not had an interview as well!!! But i dont know exactly what this reserve list means. Do we have any chance for the traineeship?????Does anybody know?

to sak: If you're on the reserve list it means someone else has been selected for a specific job, but in case this persons rejects the offer; you might be next in line. I am not sure, but I think there are quite some people on the reserve list so you have to be really lucky to be next one.

I got rejected for Commission and Parliament, but fortunately had one offer from the Committee of the Regions. I had interviews; was told I was not selected but put on reserve list and because the first person couldn't come, I got it. So there is hope! Good luck!

to fank: if you got rejected, there is unfurtunately no chance you will be eligible for an offer if someone cancels. This is already provided for the people who get a reserve list e-mail offer.

Hey Taiko - I got DG Presidency too - what will your Unit be?

Anyone knows how long it takes to verify our eligibility? I already sent all paperwork last thursday, but was hoping to get the formal reply "all's ok" before vacation!

I got rejected by the "normal" EP internships, and am STILL waiting to get the final result from the translation traineeships for which I am shortlisted. The deadline for sending the required documents was June 23rd, so I really hope they'll send out the results soon, getting tired of constantly checking my email. Anyone has any experience regarding EP translation?

I sent everything more than two weeks ago but I still didn't recive an answer!

I received the e-mail confirmation on the eligibility by the end of july - they said in the same communication that they would mail the official letter and all the details "as soon as possible". Since I am on vacation until next monday, I have no idea if the letter arrived or not, but I will keep you posted on the news

I just called them last Friday, and apparently, everything has been delayed due to the shortage of staff in August.
The official admission letters will be sent this week, I was informed.
