Hi myrskypilvi! I think we have to wait until 30 November at 5.00 p.m, unfortunately!!! I can't wait, either. I'm really impatient!!!

Does anyone know how many people applied this time? How many Italians? I'm an optimistic person but now I'm pessimistic for the preselection. For Italians is too difficult!!!

Thank you

Sad

Good luck to everyone!

Could you tell me what is it about - that whole lobbying thing? How would you do that? Send and email with a motivation letter to a DG? Or How? Can you tell me please?

I'm Italian. Got a mail this morning (which I wasnt expecting at all.....yay!)

Now considering whether to lobby or not. From what I've seen around here, I'd better make up my mind quickly...

@Nassy21: If CoR or EESC did not send you any mail, that means you were not accepted. They never send rejection e-mail, nor do the update the situation of eligible candidates....

Hi, I haven't received any e-mail so far. I believe isn't a good signal. I think that all pre-selected people have already received the mails. So sad!!! Sad

Lukasz: So far I haven´t received any email too, but i am expecting at least some reply. Their website says they should send today confirmations but rejections as well, so I am waiting (for bad news:-/ For me it seems, they first sent an email to the pre-selected candidates and now will be the rest.. according to the calendar, they should send today everything. But i don´t believe in positive answer now:(

Hi bea, I'm Italian and I haven't received any e-mail as you. Unfortunatelly, for us is really difficult to be pre selected because a lot of Italian people applied for the traineeship. I'm sure that know we can get just a rejection. I'm so disappointed!!!

Well,

Let me tell you something! The whole process is poorly designed from start to finish. They have had 3 months to filter through all the candidates and make a decision so everyone could get a response simultaneously and in a timely manner!!!They should have an automated system with the rejected pool of applicants that would be notified via e-mail first so the rejected candidates don't have to guess and wonder and can plan accordingly what to do next. Quite frankly, I would rather want my application to be denied now as opposed to waiting another two months and find out at the end of the process that I have not been selected for the job that pays a little over 1000 euro a month...At least now, I have a clear situation that allows me to move forward with my plans and goals. BTW, Spend 5 years at the TOP University in the USA got my degree with honors and still that is not enough...just wondering what criteria they use to pre-select and select applicants.Well, as I just said, at least I know what to do next!Thank you!

lukasz I think there are lots of people with good CVs they didn't consider... Maybe we just didn't choose the right DGs from the beginning or others have some more work experience or other important aspects we even don't think that are relevant but at the Commission they do! Lets just try again next time and see what happens! and btw there are lots of other interesting stages also outside the EU Wink

Lukasz I understand your disapponted. For me is the same. I've spent a lot of time to study abroad. I've a degree and I have done a lot of working experiences. I believe my curriculum is really good but maybe somebody else coud have a better one.

Anyway you can send an email to the EU and ask some information about your final mark.

Tomorrow I'm going to send an e-mail to ask some information.

I hope too. Otherwise they have to give at least some personalised feedback. They cannot treat us like numbers!
