I would like to ask you if anyone has an own experience or knows about someone who was selected for a traineeship in a different DG than he mentioned in the application form?

no own experience, but I know this has happened in the past, and also this round some people already have been called by DGs they haven't listed in their application.

So it does happen!

You can read LOTS of stories ab this in previous traineeship forums...especially the first one.

It happens very often indeed. I'm an example but also many of my friends.

And did you contact those DGs before the final selection? Or they just sent you an email that you had been chosen for a DG out of your priorities? Was it at least close to your priorities from the application form?
