Good that I found this forum as it has given me lots of new information about the application procedure. For example about lobbying which is not a part of my own working culture but appartently on EU level well accepted if not even preferred.

On this forum people advise to contact the head of the DG units for lobbying. So those units are coded like A.1, A.2, B.1 etc... right? I should pick one of those of my interest and contact the head of the unit?

Does the preferred employment area we chose (e.g. Programmes, Projects, Actions and Funds) in the application have something to do with the units?
