@almond89, I think we have to wait till early December before expecting a response. They have to go over 150 applicants after all.

Hello there!I have also applied for the traineeship starting in February 2016 but I have not recieved any response yet (eiter positive or negative). The status of my application is still "Your application has been submitted successfully".I suppose that I might be rejected provided that some have already been preselected.Do you believe that a Master's degree is an essential qualification for being selecting?I have a Bachelor's Degree in Law and I speak fluently three languages while I have also a very good commmand of other two. What would the ideal profile?I would be really grateful if you could give me some information.

@ heigebo

The problem is that in my application is stated "presected-awaiting documents" and still seems like documents are not received because it offers me to "finalise" my application, although the deadline was 22/11/2015.

@ch_kesk

Once your application is valid, it is not a question of bachelor/master but more about how your profile corresponds to unit/profile, I think.

@almond89, my status is still stated ''preselected-awaiting documents'' as well. I cannot imagine seeing any changes anytime soon.

I doubt we will hear something before early December.

I wonder how the process work here, is there another selection among the pre-selected or is it a matter of checking the validly of the documents?

Hello,

my status has changed to "Pre-selected - eligibility check confirmed".
But that means nothing concernig the selection procedure. In mail is not indicated what is the procedure going to be like neither some deadlines.

Do the make calls? #EESC

@almond89, you just beat me to it. I wanted to post the same. I don't think the EESC makes any calls. And if they do, will it be spontaneous?

#Heigebo

I have just browsed the discussions from prevoius years. It seems that they are no calls/interviezs and the results are coming in few days! (less than week for what I found)

So good luck:)

Any news from the CoR?

Hello guys,

I received a call on Friday, if I am still interested and telling me that I will receive an offer next week. They warned me that I will have to make up my mind really quickly. What that would mean? Because I am waiting for final offer for EP as well...

ThankS and congrats to the selected Wink

Are you pre-selected or on the reserve list for EP? I guess you can just accept the offer anyways and then you can always withdraw afterwards.

I am preselected, but still did not receive the final offer, which should be sent until the end of december. I am afraid that the time to accept the offer would be too short and I won't get the offer from EP early enough.
I think that I can not just withdraw it.

Hello, anybody could adivse me about accepting/withdrawing the offer of an traineeship?
Is it possible to withdraw the accepted offer without being excluded from another institution?

Thank you very much
